Description

The RHCSA Fast Track course is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 and is designed for those who are already experienced with Linux administration. This course combines Red Hat System Administration I and Red Hat System Administration II.

Audience

This course is a 4 day exam workshop for experienced administrators covering 9 days of training in 4 days and aiming to prepare attendees for the RHCSA certification.

Prerequisites

Attendees should be experienced Linux administrators wanting to take the Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator Certification exam.

In this module we look at managing local block devices creating partitions and filesystems

Manage network interfaces and settings using Network Manager tools
Analyse system logs
Using both systemd journal logging and rsyslogd you will learn to manage and read log file.
Implement advanced storage devices
Managing advanced storage solutions with LVM2, Stratis and VDO.
Scheduling tasks in Linux
Learn to schedule tasks using crond, systemd and atd
Access network storage
Access network storage using NFS 4
Manage network based security rules
Control network security with SELinux and FirewallD.
Linux containers and podman
Using Podman to manage containers in RHEL
