Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 RHCSA Fast Track

The RHCSA Fast Track course is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 and is designed for those who are already experienced with Linux administration. This course combines Red Hat System Administration I and Red Hat System Administration II.

This course is a 4 day exam workshop for experienced administrators covering 9 days of training in 4 days and aiming to prepare attendees for the RHCSA certification.

Attendees should be experienced Linux administrators wanting to take the Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator Certification exam.

Log in to remote Linux systems via SSH gain help on commands using man, info and help.
Navigate file systems and the Linux FHS
Understand the layout of the FHS and use utilities to copy, move, create, delete, and organise files while
working in the bash shell, creating aliases to tune commands as required.
Manage local user accounts and Linux groups
In this module we investigate ho to manage local users and groups and administer local password policies
and authentication.

Manage Linux file permissions
Configure and read Linux file system permissions on files and understand the permissions needed for
different tasks

Manage mandatory access controls using SELinux
Secure and understand SELinux security configurations
Understand and manage tuning profiles
Manage tuning profiles on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux system

Using the latest dnf-3 package manager found in RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 we investigate installing and

In this module we look at managing local block devices creating partitions and filesystems

Scheduling tasks in Linux
Learn to schedule tasks using crond, systemd and atd
Access network storage
Access network storage using NFS 4
Manage network based security rules
Control network security with SELinux and FirewallD.
